Hemp-Derived vs Botanical Terpenes
Terpenes are the same class of compound wherever they come from, but the source matters, both for character and for how a product is treated. MONDAYS makes two lines built on this distinction.
Hemp-derived terpenes
Our hemp line uses terpenes derived from actual cannabis strains, extracted from hemp. This gives the truest, most authentic expression of a strain's profile. These products still contain zero THC and zero CBD, verified by DEA-registered lab testing, but because they are hemp-derived, they carry the platform and advertising restrictions that apply to hemp.
Botanical terpenes
Our botanical line captures strain-inspired profiles using terpenes sourced from other plants, with no hemp involved at all. The same terpenes, myrcene, limonene, linalool, and the rest, occur throughout the plant world, so a botanical chew can echo a strain's character while being, legally and practically, simply candy.
Why we make both
The hemp line is for the purist who wants the real, strain-derived article. The botanical line is for anyone who wants the flavor and character with none of the hemp-related friction. Same terpene science, two sources. Explore the compounds behind both in our Terpene Library.
