Questions people ask before their first bag.
Straight answers, no hedging. If yours is not here, email evan@chewmondays.com and a human replies.
Will this show up on a drug test?
Every batch tests non-detect for THC, CBD, and every other cannabinoid at a DEA-registered lab, and the report is public on our lab results page. We cannot guarantee any outcome on any test, because tests vary, but there is nothing in the bag for a test to find.
Does it get you high?
No. Terpenes are the compounds that give a strain its flavor, aroma, and character. THC is what gets you high, and there is none in a MONDAYS chew. You get the strain. You do not get the high.
Then what does it do?
If THC is the gas pedal, terpenes are the steering wheel. On its own, a chew gives you the real flavor and aroma of a famous strain and the ritual that goes with it, with nothing to sleep off. Paired with your own flower, people use it to steer a session toward the strain they wanted. The hemp line is a dietary supplement; each product page lists what it supports.*
Does it actually taste like the strain?
Yes. We capture the full terpene profile of each strain, 81 to 125 compounds depending on the strain, and pull it into hand-made taffy. Budtenders tell us it is the first candy that speaks the language. The full breakdown is on every product page.
What is the difference between the hemp line and the botanical line?
Hemp line: hemp-derived terpenes, the complete strain profile, sold as a dietary supplement with a Supplement Facts panel. Botanical line: plant-derived terpenes matched to strain flavors, no hemp ingredient at all, conventional candy. Neither contains THC or CBD.
Is it legal where I live?
The botanical line contains no hemp ingredient and is candy everywhere. The hemp line is a terpene product with non-detect cannabinoids and is sold nationwide. A few states define hemp products by their source rather than their contents, so if you are unsure, check your state or start with the botanical line.
How much do I take, and how long does it last?
One chew, dissolved slowly. Most people notice the profile within 15 to 30 minutes, and it tapers off gently over one to two hours. New to terpenes? Start with half a chew. Each hemp chew carries 20mg of strain-true terpenes.
What is in the bag?
Hand-pulled taffy: sugar, corn syrup, palm oil, citric acid, natural flavors, and the strain's terpene blend. The full ingredient list and the Supplement Facts panel are on every hemp product page. The taffy contains bovine gelatin, so it is not vegan.
How do you test it?
Two independent labs. A DEA-registered laboratory confirms every cannabinoid is non-detect and runs the safety panel: pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, mycotoxins, residual solvents. An ISO 17025-accredited laboratory measures the terpene profile compound by compound. Batch numbers are printed on every bag and the reports are on our lab results page.
Which strain should I start with?
The Hemp Variety Box has all six strains, five chews each, and ships free. If you want a shortcut, the 60-second quiz matches you to a profile. Daytime strains are The Daily Commute and Go-Go Bananas. Evening is Raspberry Relief. Balanced is Wild Things, Grapes Unleaded, and Main Squeeze.
Do I need to be 21?
Yes. We sell to adults 21 and over and check age at the door.
What if I do not like it?
Return it within 30 days for a full refund. Email us, we send the label.
How fast does it ship?
Orders ship from Michigan within one business day. Free shipping on orders over $49.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. Dispensaries, smoke shops, and specialty retailers can apply on the wholesale page. Cases and samplers, with the same lab reports.
